"Tumbleweed Crossing" Traveling Wild West Show

DESCRIPTION:

“Tumbleweed Crossing” Traveling Comedy Gunfight Show: Actors must be available for nationwide travel at various times throughout the year and be capable of heavy lifting. Tours can range from 3 days to one month depending upon fair dates.  Must be 21 years of age.

PAY: $90-115/performance day + Travel/Per Diem (if applicable). Tour lodging provided.

CHARACTERS:

Marshal Luke Stephens – (Male, 21-45 years old) Marshal Courtright is a straight arrow in a wacky world of crazy Wild West characters. A strong, friendly man-about-town, he’s the man in charge of his not-so-smart deputy protecting their fair city from bad guys who have just strolled into town.  (This character is responsible for setting the pace of the show and must be able to speak in front of and capture the attention of large crowds of audiences.)

Deputy Leon – (Male, 21-40 years old) This Deputy may not be the best at his job, but he sure is the funniest!  After convincing the Marshal to switch jobs with him for the day, a couple of rotten bad guys come into town and put Leon’s courage to the test.  (This role requires a character actor capable of high energy and excellent comic timing.)

Currently Seeking:

• Gunfighters ~ 21-55 years of age.  Acting skills a plus.  Specifically looking in the Austin and San Antonio area.  Must be enthusiastic, proactive and outgoing.

• Saloon Girls ~ 21-40 years of age. Specifically looking in the Austin and San Antonio area.  Height and weight proportioned.  Voice and dance experience a plus.  Must be enthusiastic, proactive and outgoing.

• Singing / Storytelling Cowboy ~ Friendly, humorous and entertaining acoustic (guitar) performer.  Must have large repertoire of music and campfire stories and be able to work independently to hold an audience's attention.
